The big fluffer nutter
Today I saw the greatest pile of fluff to ever grace the watering mouths of children world wide. It goes by the name Rendezvous Mountain in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It was 4,573 vertical feet of white covered bliss. We're talking snow. But not snow like on the East Coast, that crunchy frozen icy debacle, for an analogy put jelly into a jar of fluff, not a lot just a little, if you remeber this you know what I mean. If you've never experienced it, you have to try it.
Never again will I be forced to skate down the icy slopes of New England, at least not for a longgggg tttttiiiimmmeeee.
My high point came when I caught the front edge of my board. This immediately sent me into an ass over tea kettle somersault. Picture my feet in teh air my head in the snow. But this snow, this snow.... I immediately stuck into the snow into my chest at was completely soft and comforting, unlike anything I have ever experienced before, as my momentum carried me forward I popped out of the snow and landed on my feet (strapped into my snowboard of course) and immediately felt overwhlemed with excitement. It was like being young again. Falling without consequence (aka personal injury).
